Comer House plein air

Comer House - Plein Air paint-out
Saturday, May 14

It was a lovely sunny day, except for the occasional raindrop or two.  We enjoyed the beautifyl grounds and some of us walked through this most interesting home of the Sumner County convention & visitor's Bureau.  The Director, Colleen Coury, was extremely nice to come and open the building for us on her day off.

We painted, we sketched, and we took lots of photographs.  Joel and Karen Knapp brought her two sisters, one of whom, painted beside Joel, as she is a beginner.  Others who enjoyed the day include Jo Griffith, Heidi Kalakoc, Christy Pilkinton, Annie Tagg and her nice hubby, Peggy Leyva-Conley, and Kathleen Haynes.
